To provide extraordinary professional care, lessen stress and exposure, and allow freedom for your pets in the comfort of your own home. And to give you peace of mind that your pets as well as your home are safe and secure.

ABOUT ME

I feel it is important for my clients to know about my values and work ethic. I understand personally how stressful it can be selecting a reliable person to look after our beloved pets. You entrust not only your pets, but also your home and I take that seriously.

Goldies Pet Sitting Service is solely owned and operated by myself, Iris Hurst.

I credit my father with inspiring my love and passion for animals. Together we cared for every sick, injured and wayward creature that crossed our paths. When well again, we would release them back into the wild, or find them a new home or keep them which happened quite often.

My love of animals has continued, with my passion still directed toward care, companionship and always protecting them from harm. I currently have three dogs and two cats of my own.

I have cared for the physically-challenged, the seniors and the too many afflicted with cancer. Special Needs is one of my areas of expertise. I rescue, I volunteer, and I donate services and supplies when possible. Goldies Pet Sitting also offers dog walking, pet taxi service, light grooming and bathing.

Talk to the Paw dog training now available!  I offer in-home private dog/puppy training lessons and behavioral modification. I use hand signals and body language with simple command words and reward reinforcement.  I have trained dogs and their owners for over 25 years and specialize in rescues with issues and dominant (not aggressive) personalities. I have also taught puppies from 8 weeks and up. Please call or email for further information and fees.

I am insured and bonded, a member of Pet Sitters International, PETS Network of Southwest Ohio, Professional United Pet Sitters, Pet Sitters Association, certified in pet first aid, and veterinarian recommended.
